Two more actresses in Iran are facing legal action for not wearing the hijab.
Local media said that after Baran Kausari, 37, and Shaqaiq Dehqan, 44, were spotted without a hijab, separate complaints were brought against them.
Both actresses might face a fine or imprisonment, according to sources.
According to local media, Baran Kausari did not wear a hijab when attending the actor Hussam Mahmoodi’s funeral last Friday, and his images were instantly posted online and on several media websites.
A few Iranian actors have already faced legal action for refusing to wear the hijab.
