In Pakistan, Google Opens Its First “App Growth Lab” For Helping Local App Developers

Google created its first App Growth Lab ever in Pakistan to discover high-potential app developers, studios, and entrepreneurs seeking to build and grow their businesses.

The four-month programmes include intensive training and support phases that give students the chance to pick the brains of Google experts in areas including Ads, AdMob, Firebase, gTech, and Play as well as industry pioneers.

Farhan S. Qureshi, Google’s Regional Director for Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, claims that the project shows Google’s commitment to the sustained growth of the nation’s developer ecosystem. We want to support Pakistani developers in their endeavour to create amazing apps for the entire globe, he declared.

The App Growth Lab project’s four main pillars are create, develop, launch, and grow.

According to a research by the private market intelligence platform Data Darbar, Pakistan’s app market had 3.52 billion installs in 2022, an increase of 35%. Google’s App Growth Lab is expected to help improve the industry’s growth in the country.
