Pakistan Is One Of The Countries With The Worst Internet Access Performance

The complex connection between Pakistan’s human rights and information and communications technology was highlighted in a thorough analysis titled “Pakistan’s Internet Landscape 2022” that was released on Monday.

The report, written by Jahanzaib Haque, Chief Digital Strategist and Editor at Dawn.com, and published by human rights organisation Bytes For All, highlighted how Pakistan continued to perform poorly on the size of the internet and digital governance on a global scale.

The survey highlighted that Pakistan still lags behind, especially when compared to other Asian countries, even if the country shown considerable progress in terms of internet availability and general administration.

It was noted that despite a rise in internet usage, 15% of the population still did not have access to mobile or telecom services or internet connectivity.
