A young man in Egypt died while trying to save his fiancée from drowning. The dead bodies of the couple who drowned in the Nile River had been recovered by rescuers.
The port claims that a young guy and a young woman drowned in the Nile River while looking for a wedding venue where they supposed to have their engagement ceremony.
The girl fell in the water while walking and drowned when her foot slipped. In an attempt to help her, the boy dived behind her, but instead of saving the girl, he died.
Officers from the Mansoura First Police Department’s Investigation Unit and River Rescue Forces arrived to the scene immediately. The relevant incident report was made public after both remains were moved to The International Hospital in Mansura’s mortuary.
